hey i need help figuring out waht rearend i have its a 95 and the parts store askt if it had a dana 60 or a dana 80 bc i need a rear drivers side whell seal and if eney one knows what it is let me know asap thanks staken

 

if it is a2500 it should be a dana 70 with a 60 front and if its a 3500 its a dana 80 rear with a 60 front

 

its a 2500 manual

 

2nd gen manual trucks from the factory come equipped with D80 rears. Auto's come with D70 rears.

 

dana 70 rear
dana 60 front
auto and stick have the same axles

 

I'll have to agree with Bill, manuals have a D80 rear.

 

isnt there a way u can check like on the diff or something?
