you can turn in the star wheel (down) and it will make the power come on sooner . but to much will give big cloud of smoke also if you turn the cone so the deep part is facing the pin its good for a couple ponies.

The star wheel is not a real sensitive adjustment. Turn it a couple turns and see how you like it. If you don't you can always put it back.

STAR WHEEL ONLY WENT DOWN 1/2 TURN AND STOPPED. TURNED AFC PIN TO RICHEST SIDE AND GROUND WASHER TO.020", RUNS GREAT , WAY MORE RESPONSIVE AND MORE SMOKE. THANKS

You might need a new washer. If you go too thin, you will lose power. With the cone all the way down you want the pin to ride to the lowest part of the eccentric cone. I found that if you go thinner than .090 on my truck then you go beyond the low part.
