Help truck died!

8 degrees this morning. Truck started up quickly since it was plugged in and after letting in run for 10 minutes I used the wind shield wipers to clear the snow. The wipers were very slow to operated and within 10 seconds the truck died. When I try to crank nothing. The only thing that works is the heater blower when set on defrost. I'm assuming electrical. Any thoughts to help pinpoint the problem.

IDK man. my 93 W350 was acting WICKED strange also. I'm gonna go ahead and say ignition switch? Luckily my truck already had a push button starter from the PO, and I just ran a jumper from my + post on my battery to the FSS. I'd be driving down the road and my GPS (powered from the 12v aux) was flickering on and off, and my gauges (except the speedo) were doing the same. IDK what my heater was doing since it was summer.

Anyway, I think the contacts in the switch are comming on and off, and keep shutting down everything run by the ignition. IDK if the blower is run off that without running outside and it's about 8*F too.

If you need to get to work, jump your FSS like I did. Now reach down to the starter with a hammer with an insulated handle. Short the small post and the big post on your starter and she should fire up for you. I had to do that a few times when my fabbed up push button starter gave up the ghost. Good luck! Oh yeah, and unplug the FSS when you get to work cause it will drain your batteries down.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Ended up being a fuse that was spliced into the line at some point in the truck's life. Of course, it was the last one I checked!
