Help Truck Died
OK keres what happened, earlier in the day I changed my airfilter, and after I did that I restarted the truck, or tried and it wouldnt start, just cranked, so then i waited about 1 minute and it then started right up like always. well then i drove it to the car wash washed it , and it started up fine, but Then I went throught he drive through at Wendys, shut it off cause the guy couldnt hear me ordered and tried to restart it when BOOM it did it again wouldnt start, waited a minute then it finally fired, next I got home shut it off tried to restart right away wouldt fire, went inside came back out and boom it fired right up numerous times. IM BAFFLED PLEASE HELP>>>

No it turns over purfectly, it seems like it not getting fuel or something, I changed the fuel filter and the same thing, It just seems like when its hot and I turn it off and then try to start it back up it just cranks, no fire... I dont know...
Sounds like the fuel shut down solinoid is not pulling the fuel on. The next time it does not start, leave the key on and pull up on the shut down linkage, if it moves up, it should start. The starter contacts are probably the culprit.
It's on the drivers side, the bracket that holds the solinoid attaches to the afc housing and right under it is the rod.
