ive been bleeding my injectors for a while now and it still wont catch. ive got new almost everything and im trying to start it but no go... could it be ksb? how do you hot wire it? sorry for the vague post but im going to get back it. any ideas are greatly appreciated. thanks

You trying to hot wire the injection pump?
I have made myself a wire that plugs into the pump and the other end has a clip for the positive battery terminal.
Then jump the starter terminals.
I had an old 1st gen I bought from a guy who had messed up the dash wiring in his truck so bad that is what I did to get it to run.

 

sweet!!!!! she finally runs! i still have to put my fenders and hood on, but now i know she runs well. so how can i fix the problem? what is the problem exactly? i ran a wire from the positive to the KSB?...the thing on the ip that has two wires connected to the top what goes wrong with this KSB thing? are they easy to find, and easy to replace?

 

The terminal on top with 2 wires is your fuel shutdown solenoid. The KSB is the cylindrical tube at the bottom of the pump. The shutdown is not getting 12V from your wiring harness for some reason. Might be a bad terminal/wire, or a bad relay on drivers fender?

I used a factory horn wire clip [same as the clip for the wire on the pump] and a old battery charger clamp and wire to make a custom wire to use that truck around my land.
The horn clip stayed put on the pump and the Alligator clamp was easy to snap on and off when I needed to use the truck.
You might get some funny looks starting your truck with a screwdriver and the hood open!
Glad to here she runs again! You have been struggling with that motor for a bit.
