help my idle is almost killing me!!!
Ive tried everything and after just turning up the pump more i cant get the idle to come back down and its almost imposible to drive
i understand what screw or bolt to turn but i can barely turn it at all so whats the easyest way? and also whats the easyest way to adjust the throtle linkage cuz with the petal to the floor there is still like a half inch of throtle to go??? Thanx

So even after loosening the locknut you are having trouble backing the screw out? Give it a good shot of penetrating spray and try again...there should also be jam-nuts on the throttle linkage that allow you to adjust it in or out which I had to do to finally get my idle down and full throttle. Worse case scenario you could file the screw stop in a pinch.
If the rpms are floating, You DO want to back out the fuel screw at least a half a turn, mabey 1 turn,
As far as the idle screw goes, I had to take a dremmel to mine, It would only turn so far,,, A little dremmel goes a long way.
WOT, adjust the linkage rod after you set the idle where you want it,
You may want to switch the linkage rod threaded end to the hole where the spring is,,, May help a bit,, Also be warned, ALWAYS look to see if at full throttle, The linkage on the pump does not hit the fuel line atop of pump, If so, Pull out the dremmel again.

Cut it off. Do a search on member timb He fabbed up a metal piece that comes from one of the injector pump hold down nuts to the linkage.
Adjust idle in about 20 seconds (including finding the 9/16 wrench) I will NEVER go to factory idle adjustment again.
