Unhappy Help, Engine just stopped last night

Last night while driving down the highway my engine just quit. It really seems like a fuel issue but I'm not sure what. I just rebuilt the IP, maybe 2500 miles on it. Lift pump seems to be working. I checked the injectors, made sure there was no air in line and nothing. All the wires seem hooked up, it turns over but it wont fire up. I do run a WVO, waste vegetable oil, system but its never given me any problems. I don't know, any ideas.

Check the Fuel Shut off Solenoid. You could have a bad connection there and the truck will shut off like you turned off the key. When it recieves 12v it opens allowing fuel to pass, when it looses it, it closes.

On the back of the injection pump where the fuel line comes from the filter head. It is about 1 " diameter round, with a screw coming out of it, should have a spade terminal screwed on it, with a grey wire connected.

Could somebody with a pic post it for him?

KSB is a German acronym for the part that advances your timing for cold startups below a cetain temperature. Its toward the front of the pump, about 3 inches long, with a wire going to it, and lines going in and out. Mine is brass colored, yours may not be. Lower front side of pump like stated earlier .

Thumbs down Still not working

Well I don't know what it is but I didn't get it. I'm on the side of the road so I can't test anything because I don't have all my tools.
Would it be the KSB if it just shut off after running for 500 miles or so? I was 7 hours into a trip when it just quit and it hasn't started or even sputtered once since.

It's not the KSB.

Gut the shutoff solenoid and see if it'll go.

the ksb is just a cold starting aid. I would say it is the shut off solenoid. Make sure the wire didn't come loose. Hope this helps.

I believe you need to pull the solenoid out of the pump then you take the spring and plunger out then you put it back in then if it runs you can use the manual kill lever on the side of the pump. I have not done this myself. Wanna knows more than me on that topic. Hopefully he will chime back in.
