where can i get the black plastic ring behind the head light on a 92 d250? cant seem to find them anywhere.

Are you meaning that squarish silvery-colored plastic bezel that is held into the grille by two screws and must needs be removed prior to headlight removal ??

I can't think of any "black plastic ring BEHIND" the headlights on any of our trucks of that vintage; I hope I ain't missing some pieces.

 

I got one from the dealer a couple of years ago. I believe the plastic part was called a "Seat" under "Headlight Assembly" in the parts book. Less than $15. This is the ring that bolts to the core support, then the bucket attaches to it. PN 5201 334.
