D80 swap
With the recent addition of the p-pump I belive it only a matter of time before the D70 takes a big nose dive. Ive searched on here for info about the swap but a few thing are still un clear for me. What would be the best one to get as far as fitment goes DRW or SRW? Will the back wheels stick out to far I do have after market wheels on the truck now. Would I need spacers for the front to get it to look right? Thanks Fellas!!!!!!!

I have a disked brake D80 from an 02 model. Was told it is was from a SRW version. Guess I really don't know.
Any how................I run 2" spacers on the front and no spacers on the rear, yet the rear track is about 1/2-1" wider than the front.
I am pretty sure the D80 SRW versions are narrower on the 94-98 trucks; before the option of the aluminum 16x8 wheels were available.

All I can say is with the stock 02' aluminum wheels on the 02 D80, it is plenty wide enough and I believe a dually rear is wider.
Just need some concrete measurments of duallys and singles from the p-pumped year trucks and from the 00-02 year trucks.
I think the drum braked 2000s/early 01s are the same width as the disk brake versions because the aluminum wheels were already offered then.
Maybe some guys in the second gen forum could answer these questions.
