Having troubles with my starwheel...

I tried adjusting my starwheel today and its not turning as easy as I thought it would. I tried everything from using a flathead screwdriver and tapping it with a hammer to pushing it with the flathead. I barely moved it and all I really did was chew the teeth up a bit. I stopped before I did anymore damage and put it back together.
Is there some sort of trick to doing this? Or am I just not trying hard enough?

Thanks
Lucas

How far down is it? When they are really low you can see about 1/4" of threads showing on the center tube.

I didn't measure but I saw quite a few threads exposed. Maybe somebody was in there before me?

It's probly already all the way down. If you want more low end smoke, just remove the starwheel. That will gain you a little more travel.

Yes it would. I am one that likes it there though. In my mind 220rwhp and a smoke show is not cool. It doesn't take much to get a ton of smoke, especially low boost black out the highway smoke. Do it at WOT, then thats a little more . WOT and a big turbo, then yes, .
