having issues with my transmission!!!!!!

its almost like she has a mind of her own! heres how it start out i broke the flex plate so i replace it with a better one. so i figure while i was in there i would replace the rear main an the converter (cirlceD) . i gotta all done an in now. i think im having a pressure problem because when i put in into gear like Reverse it wants to sit an think about it for a bit it then goes into gear does the same thing in drive what is the deal? i'm running +4 trans fuild.think theirs a piece of trash in the valve body somewhere? i

Im not judging your mechanical skills but did you check your fluid level in neutral?

Sure sounds like it is low on fluid was the trans in neutral when you checked the level.

Sounds low on fluid, or like the convertor needs to fill.

did you Put it in neutral and just let it idle for a minute or so?

Takes a while for a new converter to fill up with fluid

trans

Ok so I still having an issue with the trans. it has the right amount of fuild in now left it in neutral till it warmed up check it shows good on dipstick. my issue is the its still not engauging or when put in to reverse or drive it takes it alittle bit. also i think im losing reverse. i guess its time for a rebuild. i just want to say thank u to u all .

When my trucks start doing this I put the truck in neutral and bring the revs to 1200 rpms for a few seconds. This charges the convertor and gives a nice positive gear engagement. I had an f250 that did this for years. The trans would slip driving away cold unless you did this. Once "charged" it was fine.
