thanks for the offer. yeah it would be nice to work with or even just hang out with a fellow 1st genner. alot of fussy, prissy 2nd/3rd genners around here. i just did a 5-speed swap to my friends but his was all stock. i need to pull my engine out and check the bottom end, got a knock somewhere. overheated the poor thing a few times. and need a headgasket. might just pick up a p-pump engine and drop it in. i should start within a week
