Nice tractor... or was the focus supposed to be on the truck?

I sat in an 8940 for 12 hours yesterday, but I was just smoothing the fields up; we did all our deeper tillage in the fall.

Where in Iowa are you?

We can still have killer frost in May....Course we can have at anytime, but that is "usually" the safe time to plant. Have seen snow in mid June too. We were having a Summer Solstice (june 21) party couple years ago, storm moved in and we got a inch of fresh snow the evening. It didn't stay long,

Heck...We still have snow in my yard, been there since Sept. Its startin to go pretty quick, but temps are still dropping to hi 20's at night. That will soon end as the sun gets higher and we get over 20 hours off direct sun light. Puddles are freezing over at night which helps keep the skeeters down for the time being, but they are out in droves in the evening.
