Harsh drop in RPM when I push in the clutch
Harsh drop in RPM when I push in the clutch
When my truck is cold the RPMs drop pretty harshly when I push in the clutch or let off of the throttle with no load. It is dropping below idle and jumping right back up to idle. This seems awful rough on the engine and mounts and it is very obnoxious and hard to drive when cold. I have raised the idle up (within reason), with no change. It will do it less with the idle jacked up (too high). I don't have a tach, but I have a pretty good idea what is a comfortable range for the idle on this.
I found one other thread that was on this topic with no advise other than to raise the idle. Is there any other adjustments that could help this? Has anyone else had this problem?
