There is allot of people running the stock trans with tons of mods.

Do us a favor and fill out your sig in user cp so we know exactly what you got, year, model, trans, ect.

I have a 3spd auto with 350k miles and has never been worked on and I don't exactly take it easy on it. It seems like the trans will hold up but you might want to put a shift kit in it if it's auto and also think about at TQ down the road.

Nice truck.
With the POD's, pin and gov spring you have the potential to make some good power.
If the torque converter is stock it will suck up a good portion of your new power though, and create some heat wile doing it.
I would put a trans temp guage on it if you don't already have one and start researching torque convs and performance trans parts.
