It's a drawback for sure, I'm actually tempted to let a buddy with a 5,000 rpm p-pumper try it first, but even if I only get 10-15 psi out of it, it will help spool the turbo on the manifold, which means I can run a larger one there.

At least that's the theory....

oh so your gona make it like well im gona just call it a pusher pump kinda to get the boost going for a large turbo ok makes alot of sence thier. i thought you were gona just slap that on and take the turbo off. this makes alot more sence.

Just re-gear it for your RPM range.

You are going to have to use cogged drive pulleys anyway.

That's not going to work very well.
Better put it in a box and send it to me.

I have a feeling it's going to take a while, so don't get too excited just yet.

I'm just sick of seeing diesels fall under the chargers at the drags and at pulls, and since us VE guys can't spin a bunch of rpm to spool the turbos (esp. with a 14mm head) this seemed like a good solution to how to get a lot of air into the engine without revving it up too high.

Like the old Detroits, they don't run much for rpm and some were twin charged (super/turbo). Can't wait to see this in action.
