Getting my D250 lifted (leveled) this week...
This is the second 2wd I am going to have lifted (leveled) in front and maybe even a little in the rear if they can get enough out of the front. Here is one thing I will NOT be doing - using the 7226s springs. The shop I am going to uses Daystar spacers and longer shocks. The GIGANTIC 7226s springs I used last time were too fr*ggin hard. I am hoping that the spacers and stock springs will be enough to get it at least level. I will post pics when I get it done.
Hey Ouchman, where abouts in Texas are u? Anywhere close to me? Could you give me the details on what your doing? Parts, labor, and price? I have a 93 1 ton ext. cab that has dropped in the front over the years that I would really like to have leveled if the price aint to far out there. Thanks. Mike
Spacers sound like a good idea if the MOOGs were too stiff. The only thing I might recommend is to use at least a factory replacement front spring, as those stockers are probably a little tired.

I'm keeping the "loose" springs and using spacers because springs that will lift the truck that much (7226s, etc) are HARD as ROCKS. This time I want to have a little shock-travel. I will ask the guy for the part numbers - dropping it off tomorrow morning.
Truck is back and LEVEL. Kudos again to James at PLANET PICKUP in San Antonio, TX for a job well done.
Unfortunately I crashed my computer at home and it might be a short while til I can post pics. I spoke to the guy at the shop and he told me that they use a "custom cut" spacer made for them by Daystar, but that the same spacer that works on a '94 Ram is the right diameter. This time I used the old coils with 2 1/2" spacers and new, longer shocks + a front end alignment. Total cost $442.00. Now the truck is level and rides very smooth - beats the TAR out of the 7226s springs + spacers that I got on my last D250. My kidneys and back are much happier!
