Gen 2s have a better rwrl system?
I don't know about the differences, but I believe that most of the issues with the RWAL brake systems are related to bad rear brake adjustment or drum being out of round...Mark
The change is from Dodge's own RWABS (93-older) and 12" Bendix rear drums, to a brake system mostly borrowed from GM. I am not a fan of the effectiveness of either RWABS. The newer version may be less prone to bleeding difficulties and deterioration due to where its situated. (engine compartment vs over the rear axle). Materials also changed from cast iron to aluminum.
