I am just wondering what the diffrence is between the second gen 24v diesel and the third gen diesel? Is it a totaly diffrent fuel system, diffrent computer mapping? Can you convert the secong gen to the third gen diesel? Just thought I would ask.

 

@nd gen uses an injection pump where as the 3rd gen uses a common rail system with electrically fired injectors. It uses differnt fuel pump, computer system and other different parts. Only to convert i think is to completely swap motors and computers.
