In my search for parts and ideas to repair my truck after my elk incident I ran into a post by some guy ranting about why anyone would spend so much money to buy or repair one lg our trucks. I got thinking about my younger days of running wild drinking and drugging and how I would do whatever it took to get my fix. I have come to the conclusion that I am a Gen 1 junkie and love the high I get firing up that truck and cruising around. The sound of the engine and the looks it gets us one hell of a high and I will do whatever it takes to get it. Anybody else get the same rush?

I don't know about that but I do enjoy working on the old thing and I really enjoy the complements I get from people who like how my old rust bucket looks with a new coat of paint.

I get that high when I push the D250 hard and convoy-drive home with a co-worker (2016 hemi ram1500) some 260miles.
The old girl has some scoot left in her.
