gauges

i found a three gauge kit that was cheap and i am going to put two gauges on the piller and was woundering if anyone makes a steering coloum pod for our trucks

This is for a 2 gen., but the guys say it fits ours. Someone will confirm or argue.

Well...true and not true..the tilt hole is there but i put it in our non tilt truck and the hole is just there, with no lever...put a switch in that hole or something.....

Auto meter Z-series 5k tach (2 1/16th"). It reads at about 1/2 speed cause it isn't a diesel Tach and for some reason the tach signal from the PCM isn't good enough for the tach.... It's on my list of things to figure out.

I got the cup mount for mine. I have the old colume and I sheet metal screwed it. I like it and can still see thhe speedo.

yes but I have the magnetic pick up on the balencer. My 89 has no provisions for "plug in " as I have no pcm.

some reason the tach signal from the PCM isn't good enough for the tach.
The Dodge tach signal is only a 5 volt feed voltage. Your lucky the tach will even read that low of voltage. I have one of those tach's and it will not read my PCM signal.

Your 5 volt power feed from the PCM might be a little loose and is giving a higher voltage.
