Gauge help
Gauge help
Ok so I got my Isspro Boost and Pyrometer and gauge mount. I'm going to install these as soon as I can but I have some questions first. For lighting where do i wire them? And on the boost gauge do I crimp the fittings to keep the tubing in them or is there another method? Pyrometer is asked alot so I think I have most of the questions out of the way. Just use grease on the drill to keep the shavings from getting into the manifold.
Mattser,
Cool name.
Your boost gauge connections should have came with compression fittings. Do not crimp them. You simply slide the compression fitting over the tubing and into the threaded fitting and as you tighten, it will crush the sleeve to lock the tubing. No need to make em foot lb. tight, just a little more than snug. Hope this helps.

I don't know but your truck might have the tach plug under the dash. That is where you plug your tach wire into and also in the same plug is the wire for your dash lights which you would hook in you gauge lights. The plug will have four wires going into it. Not sure the order but one is tach sensor, 12v pos with ignition on, dash lights, and ground.
