fusible link for running lights?

my running lights shorted out. The P.O set them up on a toggle, seperate from the head lights. Ive got power to the toggle, to the fuse box which the wires are just plugged into(no fuse?) then after the fuse box Im not getting anything. Are the lights tied into a fusible link? I haven't dealt with any electrical before, I pretty lost.

All the fusible links are before the fuse panel.

Anything look burnt on the fuse panel?

Sounds like it might be the bulkhead connector (near the driver's side hood hinge on the firewall). Loosen the bolt in the middle and unplug it and look for crud. Then plug it back in and see if it works.

its not that, I unscrewed it and it actually looked clean. I have an appointment with a real auto electrician in the morning, I am totally lost.
