I have a 92 diesel with a 5 speed standard and when I turn it on some times it squels really loud . But when I touch the cluch slightly it goes away abd it doesnt return. I think that it is coming from the fly wheel but im not positive.

 

I would ges your throw out bearing, mine wasn't making any noise like that, it just rattled.

Pulled the tranny and found a newish looking clutch,pressure plate and phywheel but the pilot bearing and thro out bearing were shot!!!!!

Bought a new clutch kit and and installed, work grate!!

Hated to waste the newish part but have had bad luck putting a used pressure plates back on! Just my .02

 

I probably is but ill have to get in there to check it out.
