Fuel Tank & Fuel Gauge

Howdy,

I've got a 92 2wd extended cab. Had it about a year. Can anyone tell me FOR SURE how big the fuel tank is? The "Low Fuel" light comes on at about 22 gallons and the gauge is right at empty at about 24 gallons. I've found specs that say this model has a 30 gallon tank and others that say it has a 35 gallon tank. I'm just chicken enough not to push the mileage to a 30 or 35 gallon point. I found a fix for incorrect fuel gauge readings on Fritz's Dodge Ram site. I'm just wondering if that's for me! Thanks for any answers.

Sorry guys and gals. I got my question answered with a post just a few down from here. Thanks!

Based on what I have read the 1st gents use a 30 gallon tank. 35 gallon tanks didn't come until later. I put 29 gallons in once (I breathed a big sigh of relief when I pulled into the fuel station...that's cutting it too close for my liking!)
