Fuel Pump turn up

When I turn in the Fuel Screw for more power, the Idle goes up with it. How do I turn the Idle back down?

There is an idle adjustment screw between the head and the afc housing on top of the injection pump.

Easy Lucas, he only has 6 posts. Maybe you know the guy but, we've all been there before.

Farmboy, you can use a small punch and a hammer to break the jam nut loose on the idle adjust screw. Just as Bill said, it's between the head and the AFC housing. In the following picture, you'll see it above the fuel screw that you turned up.

Give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe some people just don't have that kind of time. Sometimes they may just be looking for a quick answer just to get by at that particular moment. We've all been there, having to ask the simplest of questions sometimes.

Farmboy, do you have gauges in the truck? Specifically, EGT and boost? Give us some more info about the truck and what you have done to it.

I know that these are stupid questions. I figured that if I ask a simple question, then I can get a simple answer. I always worry that if i mess with my truck then it won't run right or something. haha
