fuel pin rotation
well after watching crossy's son's "how to" video (which i think he's going somewhere with if he keeps 'em coming
), i turned my fuel pin to the deepest side and what a difference!! not much of one, but i can tell. don't notice any more smoke than i had prior to this mod. i make boost faster though. actually hit 17-18psi in 4th at about 3/4 throttle! never seen it that high in 4th before. a few things i noticed though... the pin seemed to be in a position that was half way between the shallow and deep sides. so opposed to "stock" i'm sure there really isn't much of a difference. even so, i tried to eyeball the shallowest side of the pin and marked the stock position (just wrote S) with a sharpie on the top of the diaphragm and did the same on the deepest side with just a dash just so i know for future reference. i also noticed a small amount of a rusty looking type of powder in the cap and end of the banjo bolt? i don't wanna say it's rust and worry myself, but maybe this is normal? i sure hope so. one more thing also... i had to chip off a brownish colored something that was stuck on the cone but i got it all cleaned up and looking new. could that have been just gummed up fuel that dried on the pin? the rusty powder and brownish "something" on the pin kind of worry me and i hope to hear some good news so i don't worry as much. any explanation on this from anyone?

I've been told brown "stuff" on the cone is completely normal.
That being said, when I took my stock cone out to put my DennyT cone in, my stocker was as clean as a whistle. Had right around 200K on it. I'm not sure why mine was clean, but other aren't.

It made a huge difference in my truck when I rotated the pin... Also, I'm pretty sure mine was binding from all the muck inside. When I did the 3200 spring I cleaned and lubed the pin and the um... other pin lol

i did notice better spool also, once i get bored of this pin its time for a denny t stage 2! where the pin was riding stock it made a mark on the chrome so i can clearly see where it originally was
