Front Hub Retaining Nut/Pin

My truck is in the shop and the owner says he can't complete the job until he finds a Spindle Nut and retaining pin to fit a 4k lb. axle. I cant seem to find one online either. Can any one point me in the right direction? Finding parts for this truck is becoming more and more frustrating.

Thank you in advance.

I have no idea. I would call them, they're experts.

Sorry I didn't see the D250.

Every cummins D250 and any D350 has a pair. Its too bad so many go to the squisher after the cummins is extracted.

The pin is just a generic cotter key. Maybe you can measure the size and thread pitch... match it at fastenal, etc.

Its actually the retaining nut that he can't find. He clarified that with me today.

Look up the parts under D350 on Advance Auto website. They show nut to be 3/4 x 16 with a dimension of 1 1/16 across the flats. Available with keeper and cotter pin.

Rockauto's listing (Dorman 615072) says that size is for "except 4000# suspension".

So better double-check before blindly buying.
