Rear Axle hub nut

Hey guys!

I really don't want to pull an axle just to find the nut size so I'm hoping someone here knows of the top of thier head.

02 Dana 80 rear discs........I've been told either 2 1/2 or 2 9/16 nut size.

Anyone know what it is?

Thanks guys!

Jeff

You may want to rephrase that , it seems to me , the r. axial does not have a hub nut from my memory , the ft does [ 2 9/16 ] .
Would you be refuring to the nut that holds the yoke to the pinoin shaft - front of differential ?
Sorry I do not remember that one .

2 9/16 inch is right.

I just did mine. Had to make a wrench as 3/4 drive sockets are too thick to clear the hub.
