Wow...just WOW!

The custom bed work in clean and the primered cab looks awesome.
Great work and it is always fun to have your kids having quality time in the shop with you.

Thanks Oliver! I sent a guy your way looking for some LE fender flares, did he get in touch with you?

I agree, it’s fun to work with them and their excitement keeps me motivated too. My 6yr old son just keeps digging at me to get back out to the shop and get to work

Great fab work as always. What gauge steel are those bed sides? Doesn't look like it's from a kit....or is it??

Man, all of the work I'm seeing is phenomenal! You have quite the skillset!

I like Speed Hut's gauges, too. I've been designing a layout for gauges in my head for a while now to replace the factory gauges. I finally got a junk dash bezel to use for mock-up work.

thank you, they are made from 16ga flat stock. Bought 4x8 and 4x10 sheets. The top rolled edge I bought 1 1/4 pipe to use for that. You can buy new box sides but they are $3000us plus shipping!

thank you, I’m starting to figure it out!
Have you played around on the speed hut webpage? You can design your gauges right on there, fun to play with for a while and get some ideas

That looks AMAZING! Craftmanship is superb!

What are you going to cover the interior floors with?

All the Power Wagon’s cab lines are rounded. Maybe carpet will soften the corners on the hump & console?

I know it is your’s and my taste means squat but was just wondering...

Thank you!

I’m planning on using the same rubberized rockerguard I used on the console I built. Going to seam seal all the joints first though.

I know what you are saying with the carpet and think it would look nicer if done
Properly, just not sure I could do it properly! There’s a lot of angles going every direction for carpet. Thanks for the feedback, I’ll definitely consider it. Would help with noise too

I hope so, would sure be nice if they all gained at least a basic understanding of tools and how to fix something. Be a huge leg up on the majority of kids now days

got this in 2007 to replace one I lost in a garage fire. It was in pretty good shape, but needed new 1/4s. new interior, rebuilt original 383,4 speed post car. Got it ready for paint but the buddy that was doing the work was diagnosed with COPD. It's supposed to be getting sprayed soon.

Got the last stake pocket bent up today then fab’d And welded in the tailgate supports. I started thinking about water getting in the stake pockets and rust running out the bottom leaving rust streaks on the paint. I’m not going to cut the stake pockets in to the box sides like the factory so that should help. I primed the inside of the stake pockets and the box side before I welded them on. Any other ideas? Couple coats of paint.
