In the lexington metro area i'll see another one every four or five days. A lot of times i think i'm meeting one and it turns out to be an old gasser.

see at least 10 different First Gens in this county on a fairly regular basis.

But I bought my truck up in Washington and they seem to have a bunch of them up there.

I see probably thirty each day.

Most are one-owner trucks.

None of them are for sale, not even for astronomically high bids, as I have witnessed this numerous times.

I did manage to sneak and buy the wife's truck out from under everyone else's nose, less than five miles from home.

One friend has three in his driveway and all three are in excellent shape.

I don't see to many here in AZ on ever once and a while unless they are hiding from me. There is a guy who goes to my school and he has one that has been beat to edit. Other than that none really. I don't see many people here online from AZ ether.

Hey 92diesel I haven't seen yours around. I work for the phone co and get around Berkeley and Morgan Counties pretty regular. I wish I could find a 1st gen (would rather have one than any 2nd or 3rd gen).

See you around

Just met a local 1st genner here for the first time yesterday. Despite the fact that it was 15 degrees and snowing, we spent about 20 minutes standing in front of the Checker looking over each other's trucks and discussing. He has a '93, which to date since I started looking last summer, makes about five or six I've seen around here since then.

Same here. I know of two others here in town. Keeping my eye on the duelly 4x4 club cab... I used to see a few more out in the other more rural countys, hauling hay, horses, cows, etc.

I had to drive to Arkansas to get mine. Couldn't find one here, even after years of looking. My dad bought his new in '93. It still has less than 150K. At that rate I stand to inherite a decent truck!

Is yours a club or regular cab DodgerDoob? You work at the UK farm in Woodford?

I see alot of the pre-91 grill gas trucks around here. Several places around here used the gasser ones (Gov. and such). There are few diesel ones here. I might have 20 or so different ones (diesel)within 50 miles or so of my house.

I recently drove past another first gen a nice pre-91 grill, gasser with a plow on it. The woman driving it gave me a friendly wave and I waved back. When people with these old dodges see the cummins trucks they get alot of respect and probably envy. It made me feel good about my truck with no cab mounts!
