Finally Running Again!

Finally got her running. Specs for the build are- A brand new head, o-rings, coated pistons, DDP stg 2 injectors, Phatshaft 62/65/14 (not installed yet), 60 lb valve springs, ARP studs, ATS 3 piece manifold, Goerend torque converter, 366 spring, Denny T stage II pin, BHAF, and 4" exhaust.

It's not completely finished, but it runs and drives. Figured i'd ***** off my work a little :headbang:

Quick video of her running-

And a couple pictures...

Gotta love that new paint smell. Nice work there amigo. Dang, I just love the sound of those early Gen 1 and 2's.

Thanks guys! Yes that is an AmsOil bypass filter that filters the oil a second time down to 2 microns. The stock filter is still in place.

Thanks, and yes. I will be doing a 2nd gen intercooler at the same time I put my Phatshaft on. That way I only have to do plumbing once.

Nice looking engine bay, and glad to see it going back together .
I am thinking about the 2nd gen I/C swap in my white crew with a Non I/Ced 12v in it.
Then I can turn in the fuel screw in some more and add that Denny T pin sitting in my tool box.

When I did my motor closer to 2 years ago I went with blue and black for the motor as well. I find it looks really good and you did Blue and black almost the opposite of me. Looks good man. I have a black block and head with blue highlights.
