Finally ready for Body work..."Pics Project"

Well, after a lot of grunt work, I am finally ready for the body work... I have completed all the fab work.. I just have to sand down some of the welds on the cowl fixes, but that is no biggi!! The under carriage is complete, sanded painted underside of cab/box, sandblasted and paint frame.. All the paint was bought from KBS coatings, new everything..lol rear disc brakes, all new front brakes, steering, Rear shackles, 47rh trans conversion, front drop hangers, 2.5 skyjacker springs, new front driveshaft, Borgeson steering shaft. Suprisingly, you may think I have dumped some serious cash into this thing, but not really, just a lot of time, I had alot of parts and Ideas from a previos build.. I am super excited at this point, because I know now the end is near..lol I appreciate everybody's comments, all the positive feedback I have been given has kept me motivated to work on this thing everyday!! Here are some pics..

looks like really clean work, good job man. why didn't you box the frame though? you have obviously spent some serious time on the undercarage and lift kit.

Well, I really didn't think of it to be honest with ya...Guess I will have to do that on the next one

Just sandblasted the back end, sanded/degreased the rest, should have just taken the cab off and blasted the whole thing though...would have been easier

That is the million dollar question..lol Thinking original deep red, silver, or the new dodge blue... I am gonna do one solid color and maybe do a semi flat bottom.. No moldings either.. strictly old school.. then some bushwhacker extenda fenders painted to match... I just found a new pre 90's tailgate with none of the Bs on it for 200 bucks and a good rust free passanger side fender and inner fender for 150, all oem stuff.. I have a perfect box and good doors already.

the new blue is an awesome color. but you can never go wrong with the original color. painting it the original color makes things a little easier and cheaper on the checkbook. those are some pretty decent prices on the parts
