Few KDP questions

What gaskets/seals do I need to do the KDP? Ive got practically the whole front end off, taking the core support out tomorrow. So why not do the KDP.

I see I need to remove the fan assembley, what about the harmonic balancer?

What is a fluidampr good for on a first gen, or can I even get it for the nonintercooled engine? Ive seen them listed for 92-98 12valves. Is it a worthy investment?

You will want to get a New front crank seal, Some rtv to seal the front cover back on. And yo need to take the dampner off and the fan, The fan nut is left handed thread soe just get a chisel and hammer and smack it on the edge of the nut going clock wise and it'll break loose. Do you have a tab for the pin already?

Thanks Brett

For the fan I would find wrench that fit it and whack it with a hammer while the belt is still on. For the dowel, you can just peen the hole with a chisel, so it can't come thru. Use grey permatex for the cover and a real Cummins seal. Don't have the p/n, but just call em with your esn. If you don't have a Cummins shop, then go to Case. Install it dry!

This topic with part numbers was just brought up a few days ago; should be easy to find.
I'll find it and bring it back up.

Thanks GLHS and everybody. Off to Dodge house to get my wallet emptied....its cheaper than driving to the closest Cummins place.
