Anyone know where I can get a fan support mount new or used for reasonable price? I was getting ready to fix my truck hopefully after replacing the fan and clutch and finding out it has a shot bearing, when I took the fan support off to remove the bearing I realized it was cracked. Dealer doesn't stock the mount and the local cummins supplier wants 300+ for the mount. Part number from cummins is 3923004. Any help would be great, thanks.

 

There's a guy on Ebay that parts out Cummins trucks, check there. His user name is redlinear, I have bought from him a few times. A fan support from a '89 - '01 truck will work fine, it doesn't need to be off a 1st gen.

 

Woah,.......The 93 fan hub is different. I got an education on this when doing my ford conversion.

 

I believe the later trucks have an offset fan. I will try to contact the guy from ebay. Thanks

 

Is far as I know the fan hubs are the same 89 thru 02 with the exception of the 93 years model. ( I know for sure)
This might be true for 92 and back to 91.5, at the start of the intercooled rotary pumped motor(?)

Your 93 will have the shorter mount in the center and it has a different offset and actually positions the fan higher on the 93

The mount on the left is a 90 model and the mount on the right is 94ish or newer
