>>> fan diameter <<<
I just got done measuring a couple of non-I/C fans that I had hanging on a nail.
non-I/C fan = 7-blades, 19.5 diameter
Does the I/C fan differ and how ??
I don't have one off of a truck and they aren't easy to get a good measurement when mounted.
Also, as per blade and hub construction, the non-I/C fan has a steel hub and steel blades; does this hold true for the I/C fan ??
Thanks.

Believe the IC fan is about 22" diameter. I know it's bigger then my old Non-IC fan was. I have to fab up a new shroud since I'm still running the Non-IC rad with a IC fan.
I believe it's steel construction with metal blades riveted in place. The Non-IC fan was definitely a stouter piece that's for sure.

theres also a upgrade fan, it goes on i/c trucks through 2001 i think, its also 22", mopar part 52028653, and fan clutch that kicks in at lower temperature 52028760, fan was around 60-70 bucks, i dont remember the clutch price, usually napa can cross the oem number to get the aftermarket replacement, the fan upgrade was rated at 8000 cfm.

Thanks for the info.
I poked a tape across the one on the wife's truck and it is at least 22" and probably some over; it is not possible to get a good measurement when mounted.
Offset appears to be different also.
Thanks.
