Factory Tach in a ''91.5

I have never really gotten an answer to this, but if my truck doesn't have the crank positioning sensor, how can I install a factory tach? I have seen them in a Non I/C truck, so I know it can be done.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'd say get some kind of alternator pickup like what comes with autometers and isspros and then run that pickup to the "signal" port on the tach, give it power, give it a ground, and hook the lights up to the dash light fuse. And good to go
