exhaust, loudness, size and preferences

I was wondering what you guys run for exhaust on here? I was planning on going 4 inch with a 5 inch stack. Will it be louder than a 3 inch ive heard conflicting stories. Oh yeah and i do want it loud by the way. I am not running an astronomical amount of power but would like to be over 200 or so once i adjust the timing and the fuel. thanks guys

Running into stacks correct?

IMHO the 3" into stacks sounds raspy.

I like 4" (turbo back) into 6" minimum stacks. I prefer 7 or 8"

It will be mellow at idle... then you get ALL the noise you want when you want it.

3 in to back of the cab, then 5in to the stack, its super throaty and loud outside, quiet and very comfortable in the cab, looks awesome rolls the coal, i love the stack its the best way to go no doubt, my egt's dropped about 100 degrees due to havin very less pipe!

yes i will be running a stack 5 inch with 4 inch all the way back. since it is custom i was planning on running a piece of 4 inch welded to the existing v band for the turbo then flexpiping to the bottom, clamping up top by the turbo and where the straight piece on the bottom is going to run and thne flexpiping up into the bed with a 4 to 5 inch coupler and then either welding or clamping the stack. would this work or should i just solid weld it all? thanks guys
