electrical, wont let truck turn over

alright soo my truck was running before i put my fenders back on then i installed the fenders and now my truck will not turn over using the key, but accesories work, but when i use a wrench on the starter it turns over and runs good, now is it my starter relay thats bad? and whitch one is the starter relay on the fire wall? if thats the problem. thanks Gregg

I'm assuming you looked at all the fuses and found them good.

When you say "accessories work", that's pretty broad - many accessories are powered off different fuses and fusible links.

Tell me, does the radio play when the key is in the RUN position?

Incidentally, all this circuitry starts on page AD5 & AD6 in the FSM, if you have one.

The relay is on the starter. It is powered by the black wire that is taped to the + cable and goes up to a fusible link near the battery, that is were you need to be getting power to. Good luck.

the assecories work as in the cd player works all lights work, windows, locks, everything, just not the starter

I'm thinking neutral safety switch. Good call Dave. I had to disconnect mine and loop the connector a couple of years back.
