I just bought a pair of these H4 conversions on ebay, about half price of the hella's.
This company Autopal is some HUGH Indian light and lens maker, these are the DOT version which are a little more expensive then the E-code ones they also offer.
Also going to put in a painless wiring headlight relay harness. While I know I can make one my time has become more valuable these days. Jeggs has it for $82.00 which is all shrinkwrapped and plug and play.

They look like a nice conversion. Kind of remind me of the Marchel lights I put on my TR 6 in 1975 Oops, showing my age, again They were round.

BTW I made an offer of $26.00 for the pair for the conversion lens & H4 60/55 watt bulbs and he accepted it. Also painless had a price increase on Wednesday the stupid harness is now $96 at jegs & summit. The painless headlight harness uses bosch relays, the summit/apc harness which is $60 cheaper uses some asian off brand relays.
I am need of a good power distribution block, with the PIAA's front fogs, Hella rear backups, trailier running light relay, heavy duty trailer brake controller, and factory fusable links add another power feed for the head light relays my positive battery post is looking like and octopus!
I am not on Jim Lane's level but getting close!

I used to be a big believer in the Sylvania Silver Stars myself until I read an article on them. They aren't really as bright as you might think they are. They give the effect of being brighter because of the blue tint that make them look whiter. They actually block out colors in the spectrum that could help you see even better at night. The article talked about the difference between the Sylvania Silver Stars and the Silver Stars made by Sylvania's parent company that are marketed in Europe. The article said the bulbs that put off the most light are the GE Nighthawks. Just wanted to put in my two cents. I like how the Silverstars are whiter, but I'd rather have more of the colors from the spectrum that really help me see better. I will try to post a link to the article.
