DRW to SRW
DRW to SRW
Hey guys,
i'm thinking of getting a 1st gen and found a 93 DRW that seems like a decent deal. But I don't really want a DRW. Has anyone around here done a conversion? I'm sure there are several that have gone DRW to SRW but has anyone gone the other direction?
Things I would need to do:
New Rims
remove rear fender
New hubs for front?
Different drums for rear?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You will want to just get a complete SRW rearend.
On the front, you are right, just swap hubs. I used new GM ones.
You can remove the rear fenders. A SRW box might be easier.
Its not too bad.

I been wondering if you just can't bolt on a set of second gen SRW wheels and drive it? Wouldn't the second gen deep offset sort of balance itself out on a dually? I been wanting to try this but I can't find a wheel locally to borrow.
