do-it-yourself IP rebuild?
anyone ever try to rebuild their own inj pump? i know that it's delicate and has to be spotlessly clean, but that doesn't worry me too much. what about service parts and manuals, diagrams, settings etc? anyone ever try or know of someone who did?
i happen to have 2 sytanadynes off of 6.2L's that i have kind of always wanted to know what makes them tick.....i mean knock.

I have a bosch 'Yellow Jacket book' distributor-type Diesel fuel injection pumps Not a rebuild manual, but pretty informative
ISBN 3-934584-65-9
Bosch # 1-987-722-144
A (VW) friend got it for me off amazon and it is pretty detailed. I think it was about the same price as the seal kits (~$17)
Haven't tried a rebuild, but I have about 10 VE's from VW's on the bench, and we were going to build a test stand for them
