this is driving me nuts I cant see or find the tach wires . Do I have to drop the dash to find them . if so how hard is it to do

 

They should be taped up to the steering column. Its a flat 4-pin connector.

 

ok Back I go again I tryed to find it before and couldn't This Is down right peein me off

 

Just went out to double check, If you look directly behind the hood release there is a big wiring hanress. it should be taped to that, or possibly hanging down. Theres an orange, grey, and 2 black wires feeding into the connector.
