different or types of exhausts you've had/have on your 1st gen? and pics
I've got another exhaust idea if any of you want it. I was thinkin of a 36" long turnout stack, and run 4" downpipe, then flex it or run some elbows under the frame, or maybe even run it through the fender well so its right under the passenger door behind the tire(like my old exhaust) and then put an elbow on it facing back, put the stack on so the chrome pipe is right under the door shining and then it turns out right behind the cab. I think it would look good and sound pretty good too.
I've also thought of runnin just a 4" elbow and pipe from the turbo right out the front body panel right above the fender well. That'd be sneaky!

nope i don't think so, it surprised me, its not that loud in the cab with the windows closed. It puts the sound up and in the air instead of echoing off everything. With my turnout tip or taller flapper on, its a lot quieter in the cab than the short one, but i think the short one looks the best. A guy with a stock 3rd gen stopped me at a convenient store the other day and said is that your exhaust stickin out of your hood while my truck was parked idling? and i smiled and said yeah, and he was like wow that is pretty quiet for havin no muffler, and said he had to turn his truck off to see if mine was running

Here's mine when I first got it with the 3" straight pipe.
Then comes the 3.5" to 4" pinnical power straight through exhaust.
Now here is what I have now. 4" round to 5"x4" box tubing to the 5" turnouts.

Lets see, I've had
Stock
Stock straight pipe
Stock 3" to 6" turn outs
4" to 5" single stack
4" to 6" single stack
4" straight pipe dumping behind rear tire
The last two get swapped back and forth but we are currently running the 4" to 6" single stack
