Wouldn't it take MORE fuel when under load (moving) than simply free reving in the driveway?

I meant it would be odd if the linkage was only hitting the shutdown lever under load...not really possible, actually I'm officially jumping on the fuel supply bandwagon

im thinking its a bad electrical connection or your fuel shut down sol. is going bad and shutting down at higher rpm...fuel pressure

im going to check the shut off sol. and wires tommrow and if the look good im goin to put a lift pump on it, it probably needs one any way hasnt been replaced in for ever. and ill let you know what takes care of it. i was thinking supply pump but didnt want to jump to conclusions and wanted some oppinions and other ideas first. but you have are comfirming my first thoughts.

If it started after changing the fuel heater I'd be looking for it sucking in air around there.

Mine dies after long WOT runs. I think I'm sucking all the fuel out from the weak LP.

Replace the terminal on the wire to the shut off solenoid. That fixed mine.

replaced ends on shut off sol. wires so far so good
