I think you are right. It must be DTT and ATS that offers 89% or 91% lock-up.

 

Good call on the 2gen flex plate. Mine blew out an hour away from home with the camper on it. Had to pull the camper off, put it on another truck and then have the truck towed. Missed a friends wedding because of it.

Could have been worse though, I had just returned from a 2 week roadtrip to Alaska with it. Was home only a week when it happened. It would have been LOTS of fun changing it in a campground with basic handtools!

BTW I bought my flexplate from Cummins direct, it was MUCH cheaper than from the Dodge dealer. TC I got from Piers in BC not sure what it is but it made a very big difference.

 

What was your Piers converter worth? They don't show any automatic stuff on their website.

 

Actually I'm not sure. At the time I had a friend working at a shop in Calgary that carried them. He used his employee discount to get me a good deal and it just showed up at my place in an unmarked box. He has since moved and I haven't kept up with him. I just figured it was Piers as thats what that shop carried.
