Dash Wiring Help

I have been having problems with my dash light fuse blowing out. It blew two fuses and I replaced them no problem. They went out again and now none of the fuses are blown. It this a common problem or what else could I check? I really like to see my gauges when I am driving at night. Thanks.

I have heard of a short or burnt wire in the headlight switch harness causing lighting gremlins. The headlight switch is also a dimmer switch for the dash lights.

while you are searching for the issue put in a proper size trip breaker so at least they will come back on.

Sounds like you need a new headlight switch.

It's also a good idea to put the HL's on relays so it doesn't get fried again.

I believe there's a sticky on that.
