D250- newer calipers? 4 piston?
D250- newer calipers? 4 piston?
Guys,
Just did the brakes and I HATE the single piston caliper. Cheap.. Do any of the newer dodge 2WD trucks have 4 piston calipers. The rotors are pretty big and the mounting bracket patten looks to be the industry standard. So at worse case, you need to make a custom hose(SS), and spacers to center the caliper.
If there are no domestic suggestions, I'll just round up some used import stuff.
By the size.. I'd guess the brembo F50's will drop on and were on some Benz, BWM, Lexis, etc.

I've seen this done on import stuff. Go from say a 190e stock brakes to SL 600 AMG brakes. Those cars it's hard due to bigger wheels/rotors. Dodge rotor is ~330 mm which would make big calipers drop in.
Better performance for sure!
