I just wanted to know what is different from a d250 to a d350 front suspension other than heavier springs? would the suspension compenents work if switching them from a 250 to a 350?

 

The suspension is all the same as long as both trucks are diesels. Gasser trucks would have lighter springs. The dually trucks just have a different hub setup.

 

the d250 that i would be getting parts from is a gasser. but i can use my springs. is there any other difference besides the spring because if not then i will go ahead and purchase it.

 

yes there are a lot of differences, however the earliest pickups like my '89 had a lot of gasser parts. Later in 92/93 2wd Diesels included reinforced upper control arms and stronger lowers as well to say the least. My right upper snapped in a parking lot right in the exact spot the later arms were reinforced.

 

Ball joints in the diesels are heavier as well. The D350 gassers are the same as diesels 250 and 350. I just started swapping all of my diesel suspension to the gasser frame tonight.
