current P#'s

this may be a repost but here it is anyway. im in the works of ordering a new piston lift pump and i got some current part numbers for all of the goodies. Lift pump-4988751 $192.20, spacer-3914284$13.25, gasket X2-3939258 $2.19, fuel line- 3914753 $36.82, seal x2-3963983 $1.28. these are the current #'s and prices as of today a grand total of $249.21

I was looking for the lift pump and found the part # was 4988747......Never mind this number is for a P-Pump on a 94-98 2nd gen. You can't use this piston pump without a regulator or you will blow out the seals on your VE pump.

If you go and see your friendly local New Holland, CASE or IH dealer, chances are they will have the same LP for less. There is a number swap, I believe the first 4 becomes a 3.

just want to note, I just ordered the above part numbers in the OP for my truck to do this job.


all part numbers were the same !


LP has gone up though, $260!


total $355.

You can also try The Hungry Diesel. Eric has the whole kit for $265.00. BTW he also has a fuel pin - best pin I have used bar none.
